Intended for close to medium-range use, the matte black 1.5-5x33 VX-R Scout Riflescope from Leupold includes multiple optical technologies to produce clear and bright images without adding bulk and weight. The glass used for the lenses is lead-free to be environmentally friendly while being clear and virtually distortion-free across the entire field of view. Each optic has blackened edges to reduce glare and diffusion, and the lens faces are fully multicoated with Leupold's DiamondCoat anti-reflection coatings. These optical coatings are index-matched to increase light transmission and contrast.
