RailScales LLC began February of 2014 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Our company name was inspired by our original, and now flagship, RailScales® product line, textured G10 scales for AR15 Keymod & MLOK Rail Systems. RailScales® were developed out of need and experience. We saw a need for a textured rail cover that provided better heat resistance than the cheap polymer rail covers on the market. They also needed a better attachment method than the clip on, loose fitting ones on the market, so we developed a direct attachment method. Our scales all feature 416 Stainless hardware, designed and manufactured by us, which offers a rock solid and vibration free attachment method.

We are currently located in Claremore, Oklahoma and have been for a year and a half. Our shop is currently not open to the public. We have been selling our RailScales® products online since June of 2014 and moved to our current site (railscales.us) in October of 2016.

RailScales LLC is Co-Owned by Brent McGuire and Derek Shelton, both of whom have Tulsa area origins. Brent is an OEF veteran & Derek has a background in machining. Our backgrounds have led us to be able to design products with a focus on high-performance function first and let that define the design.
