Champion Shooters Supply, LLC was founded by Carl and Sandra Jooss in 1972.  Carl, a competitive shooter and International Title holder himself, started the business to provide competitors with quality shooting products for training and competition.

Jooss Family History Timeline:

1957 - Carl's first attendance at Camp Perry as a Junior Shooter

1962 - Carl and Sandy met as Junior Shooters at the rifle range

1965 - Carl and Sandy were married while Carl was getting his degree in Agriculture Education and attending ROTC at The Ohio State University

1968-1969 - Served in Vietnam

1970-1972 - Was a member of the USAMTU (United States Army Marksmanship Training Unit)

1971 - Their Daughter Jenny was born

1972 - Left the Army

1974 - Their second Daughter Jody was born

1978 - Their Son, Perry, was born at Camp Perry, Ohio during the National Matches

1991 - Purchased Freelands

2000 - Carl and Perry were honored at Century Night by The Ohio State University for their performance on the Varsity Rifle Tam

2012 - Celebrating 40 years in business as an Ohio small business and also celebrating 40 years at Camp Perry on Commercial Row
