WrenTech Industries was established to promote and manufacture innovative firearm related products. The Advantage Tactical Sight (ATS), the patented brain child of WrenTech’s president, Richard Nasef, was conceptualized to correct the disadvantages of more traditional iron sight arrangements.

The skills, technical abilities, and the belief in this project by the many supporters of WrenTech and the Advantage Tactical Sight have contributed to this unparalleled sight system that combines the best of all worlds for speed of sight acquisition and precision shooting, and the ability to personalize the sight picture for each shooter. Many supporters and contributors to the development of the Advantage Tactical Sight are skilled action pistol competitors and some also have impressive tactical resumes. Richard, the California State 1998 IDPA revolver champion has been an active competitor in several action and other shooting competitions for a number of years. In addition, Richard is a practicing psychotherapist in both New Mexico and California. His interest in unconscious behavior and how the brain learns led him to conceptualize the ATS. It became clear that the human brain is able to more quickly learn and acclimate to a vertically aligning pyramid sight picture than traditional sight pictures.
