Stratton Custom is located in Hurricane, UT. Hurricane is in the South West corner of the state, only about 6 miles from the Arizona state. A larger more well know neighboring city (about 18 miles west) is St. George, UT. 

Stratton Custom is a One Man show owned and operated by myself, Steve Stratton. I have been a Gun Nut and hunter most of my life. I started in the firearms business in the 90s. I was one of the principals of the former Virgin Valley Custom Guns . I was involved full time with V V C Guns from the day it opened to the day it closed. After V V C closed it's doors in 2004 I kept doing the same things I had done at Virgin Valley plus some new additions out of my shop at home. Basically that includes everything V V C offered in the way of service and accessories except custom barrels and the custom stock sets. Right now I work a regular 8 hr day job (not gun related) in addition to the Encore and Contender work. No time to get into trouble!

Just FYI, the same barrel makers that made all of Virgin Valleys custom barrels have opened another custom barrel shop in St. George, Ut. The name of the shop is Match Grade Machine (MGM for short). They purchased all of Virgin Valleys machinery, equipment, reamer board, etc. They are making the same identical barrels as Virgin Valley made only under the new name. A good source to consider if you are looking for a custom barrel. There is a link to their web site on my links page. The stock makers at V V C have all gone their separate ways and are no longer doing stock work. If you are interested in having a custom rifle stock or pistol grip set made I do have some great sources I can refer you too.
