REDFIELD GUN SIGHT CO.

Redfield, the iconic name in the firearms accessory industry, has survived many ups and downs over 106 years.

John Redfield started the Redfield Gun Sight Company in 1909. The company produced iron sights, peep-sights and dozens of styles of front sights including posts, beads and blades. Early in the century, many firearms manufacturers offered the scopes as a factory option.

Eventually, Redfield expanded their product line to include rifle scopes, binoculars and spotting scopes. These products were made in Denver, Colorado until 1998 when the factory closed its doors. The Redfield name was bought and sold by numerous manufacturers after the original company went under. The brand, once again, ceased to be attached to products.

In 2008, Leupold and Stevens of Beaverton, Oregon, who manufactures Revolution scopes, purchased the Redfield name and all the intellectual property.

The flagship scope now in Redfield's line is the Revolution. It is a high quality, competitively priced scope that is made in the USA.
